I SPY A CRIME: An Anthology

JUST PUBLISHED!

I SPY A CRIME: An Anthology is my first collective work of short mystery stories and is now available from Amazon in both print and e-book formats.

I've been working on this book since late summer 2021, but a more accurate statement is that it's been in the works for years.

Over the past 20 years, I've written numerous short stories, all of which were in my hard drive waiting for me to make a move.

THE SELECTED SIX STORIES:

Murder on Mohawk Hill: Detective Grant Hunter is called to investigate the death of 83-year-old Catherine Bolton-McGuire, the matriarch of the McGuire family and manufacturing fortune. He quickly finds that there are several suspects to choose from. Eventually, all the evidence points to one person. He makes the arrest only to find out the true criminal is right under his nose.

Mr. Moody’s Frugal Revenge: Poor Mr. Moody's death is an unexpected loss for a few of his co-workers at the W. G. Pittsford Bank. Millie, the bank president's secretary was especially troubled by the news. Locked into a dead-end job, she didn’t dare risk leaving, besides, where would she go? When the auditors arrive at the bank the following day and revealed Mr. Moody’s revenge, she had her answer.

A Christmas Presence: Do you believe in Christmas magic?

Tiger’s Eye: Charlie is a meter maid in the small tourist Michigan town of Sandy Ports. Her hopes of becoming a detective seemed like an unattainable goal until a stranger comes to town and turns her life upside down.

Crossroads: At the end of Detective Sam Harper’s shift, he stops by a local pub for a drink. The recent murder case weighs heavily on his mind and his drink at the end of the day holds no hopes except to forget. Forget the job. Forget regrets. He wants to forget her too until she walks through the door.

The Peanut Man: When private investigators Joe Stinger and his partner Miles are hired to find their client's estranged father, the clues lead them down a twisted path of deceit and murder.

Hope you enjoy the read!
